I am a freelance writer/editor with a decade of proven experience in strategic communcations, content creation, and copywriting.
As a teen, I became a film fanatic after seeing Guy Ritchie's "Snatch." Soon after, I "borrowed" my family's video camera and some bootleg editing software and began to make my own films. My passion has always been for the editing suite and I love to edit found and original footage alike, especially to musical scores.
After majoring in film studies at Vassar College, I interned at the Chicago International Film Festival, where I provided copywriting support for festival publications. Eventually, I earned my MPH and found myself in the field of health communications where I have worked with clients at HHS, CDC, and NIH to develop compelling communications campaigns that inspire behavior change.
I enjoy bringing my love for film and video to my current work in public health and am a firm believer in the use of these mediums to create lasting, positive impact on communities.
