I work with individuals, couples and families struggling with depression, anxiety, stress/PTSD and marital issues. I provide short term/solution focused counseling. I strive to schedule clients within one week. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
I have had specialized training in short term interventions (such as Employee Assistance(EAP)work, Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am board certified by the American Association of Experts in Traumatic Stress.
I often work with individuals and couples from the military and public safety. I am a retired career firefighter and paramedic in a large metropolitan fire department and a retired member of the Indiana Guard Reserve.
