Lorrie holds a Doctorate degree in Metaphysical Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Lorrie retired as the Victim Services Coordinator for the Natrona County Sheriff's Office in Casper Wyoming in 2018. She has been involved in several different careers in a law enforcement environment since 2001. Her last 13 years with the Sheriffs Office were spent in investigations as the Victim Services Coordinator.
Lorrie is a 2006 graduate of Gavin DeBecker and Associates Advanced Threat Assessment and Management Academy in Lake Arrowhead, California and is certified as a threat assessment specialist. Lorrie is certified through the Mediation Training Institute (MTI) as a Mediator and mediation trainer and performs mediations for businesses.
Lorrie has hosted ten 40 hour victim services academies in Casper and several threat assessment seminars and critical incident classes for students from around the state, and surrounding states. She has been educating Police Dispatchers and Law Enforcement Officers in the areas of Critical incident Stress and Domestic Violence Dynamics for at least 10 years. She is certified through the Critical incident stress Foundation in Advocacy for emergency responders since 2006 as well as Critical incident team evolution and management. In 2007 Lorrie also attended The CISM Team Development training before beginning the CISM team for the Natrona County Sheriffs Office in joint support with the Casper Police Department.
Lorrie was a Police Officers Standards Training (POST) Certified Trainer in areas of Domestic Violence, Threat Assessment, Critical Incident Stress, Victim Services, Crisis Intervention, Search and Rescue Management Systems and Search and Rescue Fundamentals. Lorrie is also a certified Wellness Counselor/Life coach through the Hawaii Wellness Institute, practicing the concepts of Untherapy. Lorrie became a Reiki Master and Teacher in 2018 in Hawaii and is currently in private practice in Casper Wyoming.
