After graduation in 1997, Jeanine has been working in the Rehabilitation field in a multicultural setting with a team of psychologists dealing with victims of car or work accidents.
She also contracted with several EAP agencies and provided short-term counselling to working people and their families. She can provide counselling over the phone or via email or Skype. She specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, post-trauma stress e.g. rape, victims of crimes, etc. She provided counselling to individuals from teens to adults, and couples of all ages.
She speaks English, French, and Vietnamese (and a few words of Tagalog). She uses cognitive behavioral therapy. Vietnamese people are welcome.
She is now working in private practice in collaboration with a psychologist in Scarborough. She continues to accept referrals from EFAP agencies, especially Homewood Health, and other health care practitioners. She accepts third party insurance, either directly or indirectly via the psychologist, Dr. Rockman. since the proclamation of the controlled act in Ontario in December 2017.
She occasionally gave talks in small communities like parishes or Elderly Association about Conflict Resolution or Parenting or when there is a need for some specific matter. Since 2016, she also does benevolent home visit to families in need via St. Vincent de Paul Society in her Scarborough parish.
