Dr. Norton is founder and owner of Center for Trauma Therapy, with offices in Franklin, Tennessee, and Satellite Beach, Florida. In addition to treating traumatic stress and dissociative conditions, Dr. Norton has more than 25 years? experience in forensic traumatology, and has been an expert mental health consultant in over 250 death penalty cases in trial, appellate, and clemency proceedings. She has provided extensive training for attorneys and mental health professionals in the area of developmental trauma and related mitigation evidence. Dr. Norton has worked nationally and internationally as an expert consultant and educator in the areas of trauma and dissociation. She established a trauma clinic for abused children in the Philippines, and continues to train and supervise trauma therapists in the U.S. and abroad.
