An Pham is a fourth-year industrial design student at Carleton University. She recently did a semester abroad at the University of South Australia. While studying in Australia, An’s project was chosen as one of the most profitable projects of her class. The project was to design a system, product and interface to help reduce domestic food waste in Australia.  In the summer of 2019, An worked with Senator Ngo as a graphic design intern. For her fourth-year thesis project, An is working to safely support visitation in long term care facilities during and in a world post-COVID-19. She is interested in social and empathetic design.
