Dr. Brawerman is a psychotherapist and consultant specializing in relationship issues, mood disorders, complex trauma, and addictions. With 20 years of clinical experience, she holds the Diplomate status with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, and has been a Certified EMDR therapist and Approved EMDR Consultant since 2002. She developed the Trauma Recovery Program for Promises Malibu Treatment Center in 2009, and currently works as a consultant with U.S. medical doctors and recovery centers.
With deep and diverse training in attachment, emotion regulation, dissociation, and somatic-based psychotherapies, Dr. Brawerman attends to each client with skill and specificity, ensuring personalized, comprehensive treatment.
