Professional Biography
Dr. April Bay has been a Diplomate with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress since 1999. She has been in private practice as a licensed psychologist in Nevada for the past 28 years. Her clinical practice serves children and adult, providing treatments for a variety of issues and specialty in emotional trauma. Dr. Bay also has a forensic practice and provides expert testimony and psychological evaluations for the Courts. She has been qualified as an expert by every Family Court in Northern Nevada and many rural Courts. She provides expert consultation to family law attorneys and is frequently appointed as an independent psychological examiner within the Family Courts, Federal Courts, as well as the Department of Child and Family Services and other government agencies. Dr. Bay brings vast experience to her clients, while maintaining respect, support, and validation for each person?s unique set of circumstances.
