Dr. Andrew McMenamin is an internationally recognized trauma specialist and expert in stress management. He has over 30 years of experience in mental health, addictions, and crisis counseling. He specializes in post-traumatic stress and crisis management pertaining to domestic violence, sexual abuse, suicide, homicide, bereavement and divorce. As traumatic events are typically unexpected and uncontrollable, these events may overwhelm an individual's sense of safety and security leaving the person feeling vulnerable and insecure in their environment. Andrew assists individuals in coping with their traumatic experiences and the aftermath. He has responded to numerous disasters/crises, including military actions, natural disasters, rapes, suicides, homicides, and motor vehicle accidents.
