About Me

Emma Pearce is a DC-based filmmaker and documentary photographer. She wrote and produced an award winning short, In Lorton's Darkroom, about a photography program at DC's infamous Lorton Prison, and currently works for Cisco Systems as a videographer and motion graphics designer. 

Additionally, she teaches photography in Abiquiu, NM. 


She is an experienced freelance filmmaker skilled in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator. 


Emma is a 2013 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Filmmaking.
