WNSS offers transitional (temporary) housing to women and children who have experienced abuse. We have fully furnished apartments in Grimsby and Beamsville. Counsellor visits weekly to offer support, resources, and community referrals as client directed. The Transitional & Housing Support Worker is available Mon-Fri at 905-563-5548. The Transitional & Housing Support Worker provides counselling, provides legal information and advocacy, housing support planning and advocacy, resource referrals, information, and support. This service is available to all women and children including clients who do not require housing. In July 2016 we will be welcoming a Child and Youth worker to the clinical team.
