Design career includes being the first-ever winner of CBC's Dragons' Den for medical invention; Sunnybrook Centre for Studies in Aging, consumer goods innovator Umbra, and as founding partner at Medonyx Inc, creating and licensing novel disposable infection control products used in Canadian government stockpiles and with customers worldwide.
Responsible for designing 200 products, studied Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Presented at National Institute of Health’s Institute Of Medicine in Washington DC (Product Design Innovation), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME Medical 3D printing), and even on MTV Canada. Gold and Silver medal winner of National Post | Design Exchange Awards, and others. Numerous utility patents awarded or pending in the US and worldwide.
