Prism Hair Company is a fully accessible, LGBTQIA+ inclusive hair salon that specializes in hair colouring, cutting, styling, extensions and bridal. We are a Green Circle Salon where we recycle 95% of our salon waste along with the use of “Eco Heads” that are attached to our shampoo sink faucets that saves 65% of water and energy. Our goal is to create a place where everyone feels safe to be who they are and free to be the best versions of themselves.
It is very important that our stylists feel supported throughout their careers with continuous education opportunities, an ergonomic work environment and a work/life balance that promotes health and well-being.
Owner, Mary Armstrong, is a National award winning hair stylist. In 2017 she received Gold in the Goldwell ColourZoom Canada-wide competition and went to compete live in Barcelona finishing fifth in the Global competition for New Talent. In 2023, Mary won Silver in the Global Creative Awards and an International Semi-Finalist for her Editorial Collection.
