Alu McCabe’s career in human resources and talent management reflects an unwavering dedication to excellence and a deep commitment to empowering individuals and organizations to excel. With more than two decades of experience, Alu‘s influence extends beyond boundaries, leaving an enduring imprint on the HR and business development landscape.

In 1998, Alu commenced her professional journey in Canada as the Training Manager at Manpower Services Inc. in Niagara. Her career path then led her to the position of HR Centre Manager at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, where she oversaw an international hub serving a diverse workforce of over 1200 employees from more than 60 different nationalities. Alu‘s unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion not only heightened employee satisfaction but also more than doubled the HR Centre’s financial performance during her tenure.

In 2012, Alu returned to her hometown of Niagara after a decade of gaining valuable international HR experience. Armed with professional designations, including a CHRE from the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) and PHRi and SPHRi certifications from the Human Resource Certificate Institute (HRCI), as well as a Master’s in Human Resource Management and Development, Alu has firmly established herself as a prominent advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), staff development, and workforce engagement.

Through her multifaceted roles and platforms, Alu remains an unwavering champion of the transformative potential of psychological contracts in the workplace and the fundamental principles of leadership development. Her career serves as a testament to the profound impact that an individual can have in shaping the future of organizations and the workforce.
