Formed in 1952, CLAC (Christian Labour Association of Canada) is a national union representing over 60,000 workers in almost every sector of the economy. Based on values of respect, dignity, and fairness, CLAC is committed to building better workplaces, better communities, and better lives.

CASP:Canadian small-to-medium sized employers (499 of less employees) can receive up to $10,000 through CASP when they hire a first-year apprentice in an eligible construction and/or manufacturing Red Seal trade.
Employers can also receive assistance with recruiting, onboarding, and retaining apprentices by accessing resources and training through CASP, including training on creating inclusive workplaces.
$5,000 is available for qualifying employers who hire a new first-year apprentice in an eligible trade. An additional $5,000 is available if the apprentice self-identifies as being from at least one of the equity deserving groups:
-Women
-Indigenous people
-Newcomers to Canada
-Persons with disabilities
-Visible minorities
-LGBTQ2 individuals.
