About Me


Dr. Terrance Snutch is a renowned biomedical scientist known for his delineation of the family of calcium channel proteins that contribute to multiple physiological functions including muscle contraction and the release of neurotransmitters responsible for all nerve cell signaling. Dr. Snutch’s seminal translational research has contributed towards fundamental mechanisms in neurobiology and cardiovascular physiology and has provided the basis for new insights into serious human genetic diseases including autism, epilepsy, blindness, muscle paralysis, cerebellar ataxias and migraine headache.
