Stanley Kutcher holds the Sun Life Financial Chair in Adolescent Mental Health at Dalhousie University, is the former Chair of the Department of Psychiatry, and is an internationally recognized expert in adolescent psychiatry and a leader in mental health education. In addition to making substantive research contributions in the field of adolescent psychiatry with over 200 peer-reviewed publications, he has played a major role in developing guidelines in Canada and in the United States for several psychiatric disorders. Internationally, he is Director of WHO Collaborating Centre in Mental Health Training and Policy Development where he is seen as an innovative thinker and creative problem solver.
