Franklin Stage Company is the only fully professional, admission free theater in the Western Catskills. Our summer season runs July 4 weekend - Labor Day in the historical Chapel Hall, built in 1853, an architectural gem that was once home to the Delaware Literary Institute. Each season Franklin Stage Company produces classic and modern plays using professional actors through the Actors' Equity Union. Franklin Stage Company also presents 3 - 4 emerging and established artists working in a variety of performance disciplines, with the mission to bring together artists and audiences to create community and share the enduring power of stories.
