About Us

The Veolia North America Flanders, New Jersey facility operates as a storage and transfer operation for hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Veolia's Flanders is a 37,000-sq. ft. facility located on 6-acres of land in a light industrial area of Morris County, New Jersey. Site operations began at the facility in April of 1989. The land was undeveloped prior to construction of the facility.

Veolia's Flanders operates under a RCRA Part B Permit issued by the State of New Jersey. Currently, the facility can store the equivalent volume of 3,100 55-gallon drums of hazardous waste materials and has obtained a TSCA permit for the storage of regulated PCB wastes. On a yearly average, the facility manages over 20 million pounds of waste.
Veolia's Flanders, NJ facility is now permitted to store and transfer regulated medical waste. Both hazardous waste and medical waste can be handled during the same service call. Each type of waste is handled properly to comply with regulatory requirements, including all labeling, manifesting, storage, transporation and disposal.
Veolia's Flanders does not perform treatment or disposal of materials on-site. Final treatment and disposal is coordinated through a variety of approved recycling, wastewater treatment, fuel blending, incineration and landfill facilities.
