About Me


Peter Paré is an international leader in the application of physiological, pathological, radiological, genetic and molecular techniques to the study of chronic obstructive lung diseases. His ground-breaking research into the mechanisms limiting airflow has led to better diagnosis and an improved understanding of genetic susceptibility and molecular pathogenesis of these conditions. His authorship and co-authorship of an acclaimed four volume textbook and over 250 peer reviewed publications have both improved diagnosis and provided a fresh approach to the development of new molecular targets for the treatment of chronic obstructive lung diseases.
