About Me
Cheryl Jacobs Crim has been producing award winning television specials and documentaries more than 30 years. She has produced, directed and edited 21 highly acclaimed specials and documentaries earning numerous awards including a gold medal at The International Film and Television Festival of New York, “Best of Show” at The Houston International Film Festival and two Silver Telly’s. She has also won 12 Regional Emmy Awards for outstanding documentary and entertainment programs, including two for individual achievement in directing and editing. A move to Liverpool, England gave Cheryl the opportunity to produce throughout Europe. Now living in Sandy Spring, Maryland, Cheryl has worked primarily with schools and nonprofits, but her activist soul could not resist creating Resisterhood, a documentary about women responding to the current administration’s threat to American democracy and our civil rights.
