Pamela Steel creates felt paintings and sculptures and invites others to recreate her designs using Feltalala's affordable kits.
Some of her work is informed by much-loved literature with sculptures inspired by characters like Peter Rabbit, Winne the Pooh and Piglet. Costuming for the characters is a favourite part of the process and Regency era is revisited in characters like Mr. Darcy Bunny and Elizabeth Bennet Bunny.
Not to dismiss Glamour Bunny, whose puffer jacket and kicky attitude are all 21st century.
Other kits celebrate a Cottage Core esthetic, reflecting the natural world with acorn, mushroom and apple ornaments.
