Rita Burgoyne is an Accredited Family Mediator, certified Family Group Conference Coordinator

and Original Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Rita Burgoyne is also a licensed Clinical Social

Worker with more than 25 years experience working with Children and Families in the Mental

Health field. She served on the Community Inclusivity and Equity Council of York Region CIECYR

where she taught the Courageous Leadership Program to Senior Leaders in Ontario. Her private

practice has spanned across Canada and evolved to becoming completely virtual which has

expanded her work to include many participants around the world, including the USA, Greece,

Trinidad and Tobago, and Africa.

Rita Burgoyne also has experience working with First Nations and Metis people which has

taught her many great life lessons and as a Metis woman herself, this work is very close to her

heart. She is an excellent speaker, a remarkable collaborator and an insightful clinician who is

always open to learning and she is an exceptional advocate for the rights of all people
