About Us

If you are looking for alternative
treatment for ADHD, the Center 4 ADHD
provides a comprehensive intervention program for children and adolescents that has been shown to improve attention, memory and behavior.

Let us help your child maximize their learning potential.

Personalized Learning Profile

A learning inventory will be given to students ages 9 and up to help parents and students understand their learning preferences and how they impact their ability to be successful in the classroom.

Collaboration with School and Teacher

With parent and school permission, a classroom observation will be made and a meeting held with teacher(s) to identify strengths and concerns in order to develop interventions and strategies to support student success.

Play Attention

Greater attention = greater learning! Play Attention is a computerized learning program designed to increase attention and focus.

An armband is utilized to measure brain activity indicative of attention. Your child can activate cognitive games by applying full attention to get started. Then, using the same technology, they can actually move game characters by mind/attention alone.

If they lose attention, the game will stop until they fully apply themselves again. Play Attention* works best with two, 30-minute sessions a week for 20 weeks.

Brain Balancing Training

Movement activities designed to stimulate and balance the function of the hemispheres of the brain are learned. Physical and sensory activities can promote self-control and empower students with strategies that can be used in any situation.

Mindfulness Training

Students are taught to notice and "get in tune" with their feelings while empowering them with strategies to be proactive, to intervene and to make a plan (N.I.P. IT).

Your child will learn what happens in their brains when they are focusing and effectively processing information.

Strategies and interventions are taught to students that can result in an improvement in self-control, self awareness, and self-regulation.
