About Me

Hassan Ghanati has dedicated the last decade to perfecting his craft, primarily focusing on woodworking while experimenting with pottery, ceramics, and metal. Hassan has graduate degrees in Craft & Design from the Art University of Kashan, Iran, and his work has been exhibited in juried national shows and exhibitions.

His deep respect and concern for the natural world informs his practice, sourcing the wood for his pieces locally and exclusively milling from distressed or fallen trees.

Each hand-carved piece aims to reflect nature, working with the material, allowing nature to play a hand in the creative process. As a result each work combines elements of contemporary design and the natural beauty of wood.
