About Me
Katrina studied at the School of Craft and Design, Sheridan College (2006-2009, A.Dip.) and OCAD University (2015-2019, M.Des). She has spent time apprenticing in the studios of renown makers Michael Fortune (Ontario) and Mike Paterson (Newfoundland), ever-learning at craft institutions Anderson Ranch (Colorado), Haystack Mountain School of Craft and the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship (Maine). Katrina established her studio practice Finefolk in 2019, designing and producing wood goods for both residential and commercial projects inlcuding a seating series for Fogo Island Workshops. She maintains a teaching and production workshop in Prince Edward County and a prototyping workshop on Fogo Island. Katrina exhibits internationally and has received several awards for her work.
