Collierville Farmers Market (CFM) -bringing our community local fresh food and goods since 2009. Our market is open every Thursday from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, May 23
– September 26, 2024. We offer a variety of products from over 30 vendors,
including straight from the farm produce, home baked goods, meats, seafood and
dairy, prepared meals, fresh flowers, bath & body products, canned goods,
and handmade crafts and gifts. We are a “producer only” market which mean
products must be grown or produced locally (not bought elsewhere and sold as
their own). Our farmers are able to offer some of the freshest food
around—usually only hours from the field—so customers get the most nutritious
and delicious flavors available.
Our outdoor location at Collierville United Methodist Church
on 454 W. Poplar Ave. offers convenient parking, as well as indoor restrooms,
and a coffee shop. We are the only farmers market in the area that operates on
a Thursday morning, giving our customers the chance to stock up early for the
weekend.
2024 will mark our 15th anniversary and we have
several special events planned for the season We were founded in 2009 by
community advocates with the idea that the CFM would provide a festive and
family-friendly gathering spot for the community to shop and linger. In
addition to market items for sale, we offer live music, kids activities, food
samples, demonstrations, special events, and more.
The CFM has become a delightful destination for family
outings. We believe there is great value in educating children about where
their food comes from. We try to make it fun by offering kids activities and
scavenger hunts. There’s nothing like seeing the excitement on a child’s face discovering
funky shaped pumpkins and rainbow colored produce grown “on a real farm”. We
welcome preschool and home school field trips anytime, as well as senior living
facility residents. Of course, we are pet friendly and love seeing our leashed
four-legged friends!
We are governed by a volunteer board of directors: Monica
Casey, Cindy Ford, Sandy Barrios, and Julie Schultz. Volunteers are always
needed and welcome!
