About Me


Marvin Fritzler is a clinician-scientist who has an international reputation in the fields of autoantibodies and autoimmune diseases. He has published over 600 peer-reviewed publications and is noted for identifying over 20 novel autoantigens that are applied in clinical assays that provide early and accurate diagnoses of specific autoimmune illnesses. These diagnostic assays are used worldwide and several have prognostic significance. He is the founder and medical director of Mitogen Diagnostics Corporation (MitogenDx) Dr. Fritzler has held numerous leadership positions in professional organizations, and he chaired the Government of Alberta’s senior strategy and policy advisory board, the Alberta Research and Innovation Authority. He was recently accorded the distinction of Professor Emeritus Medicine at the University of Calgary
