Since breaking ground on our brewery and taproom in 2015, we've been on a relentless pursuit: work hard, have fun, and brew exceptional beer. From humble beginnings to becoming a household name in Atlantic Canada, our journey has been fueled by dedication and a commitment to authenticity.
In just a few short years, we've expanded our reach, with our products now gracing shelves and taps across various provinces in the region. Our growth didn't stop there. In 2021, we proudly unveiled Oak Manor, our second taproom nestled in the charming university town of Antigonish. And in 2023, we boldly ventured into The Common, situated at The Hub Shopping Centre, marking a milestone as the sole licensed food hall in Atlantic Canada.
But it's not just about the numbers; it's about staying true to our roots. We've poured 3.5 million litres of beer, all while upholding our no-nonsense ethos. Ambitious? Absolutely. Pretentious? Never.
When we chose the location for our brewery and flagship taproom, we deliberately opted for Burnside Industrial Park—a reflection of our values over trendy locales. Here, amidst hardworking folks who share our ethos, we've found a home to craft exceptional brews without compromise.
Our beer speaks volumes. From specialty craft creations like Killick, Sea Glass, and Queen Bee to seasonal surprises, we've proven ourselves in the art of brewing classic styles. But it's not just about sophistication; it's about accessibility. Enter our Toller line—an affordable, well-crafted alternative that's been making waves since its inception in 2018.
Yet, our journey has been marked by change. In 2022, faced with the challenge of sharing a name with a US-based beverage company, we didn't flinch. Instead, we embraced the opportunity to redefine ourselves—to choose a name that resonates with who we are and where we stand.
