Dr. Trevor Young is an outstanding clinician-scientist and an international authority in the area of bipolar disorder, investigating its molecular basis, its treatment, and its clinical applications. Dr. Young is a leader amongst his peers. He was Physician-in-Chief and Executive Vice President of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Toronto) Canada’s leading addiction and mental health teaching hospital, as well as Professor and Cameron Wilson Chair in Depression at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Toronto. Currently he is Professor and Head of the UBC Department of Psychiatry, one of the leading psychiatric university programs in North America.
