Hello... My name is Marty Klein.I've practiced family law throughout the GTA for over three decades. Yet my real passion is keeping people, parents and especially their children, out of court, for I have come to understand the divisiveness (and needless-to-say costs) often associated with the law model. I am a Certified Specialist in Family Mediation (FDRP Med), Family Arbitration (FDRP Arb) and Qualified Family Arbitration Screener (QFAS) with the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario (FDRIO). As well, I am an Accredited Mediator (AccFM) with the Ontario Association of Family Mediation (OAFM). I am also trained in the Collaborative Process and in Parental Coordination. For several years, I was a Deputy Judge in the Small Claims Court in Brampton and sat as a Dispute Resolution Officer (DRO) in the Superior Court of Justice at Brampton. I tend to keep myself involved in numerous committees and community agencies, including PCHS (Punjabi Community Health Services).. I also hold memberships in the Family Lawyers Association, Peel Law Association and Peel-Halton Collaborative Practice Group. For many years I was an instructor for the Law Society of Ontario's Bar Admission Course. Above all else?Ķ is my relentless commitment to 'fairness' and pursuit of 'no-court' resolution of conflict.
