About Me

I am a Family therapist and registered Psychologist with experience in working therapeutically with children, adolescents and their families (and adults too actually) on a variety of mental health and family issues.  I have particular interest and skill in childhood anxiety, relationship issues, eating disorders and attachment, but I can work with most presentations.

I am the co-author of the ‘Worry Bug project', funded by Rata Foundation and NZ Red Cross, which provided books and resources to families and schools across Canterbury
addressing anxiety after the Canterbury quakes. I also did a later project with the Champion Centre for which I wrote "Earlybird", a storybook addressing the journey of families of children born prematurely.  You can find the Worry bug project online at
www.theworrybug.co.nz, and Earlybird is given out in NICUs nationwide, but can also be purchased via the Champion Centre in Christchurch in English and Te Reo Maori.
