Esther is a Chartered Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada since 2008, a Senior Trainer and Honoured Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution CICR-ICRC since 1997. Esther is a capable and talented professional mediator with extensive knowledge of ADR processes including: conflict management, workplace mediation, multiparty negotiations, stakeholder engagement and hosting community conversations.
Esther has twenty (20) years of experience and knowledge of Indigenous peoples' perspectives / concerns, and received guidance and learnings from Elders, emerging leaders, women and youth. She is an experienced ADR practitioner with knowledge of human rights and understands complex systemic issues affecting Indigenous people. She facilitates experiential, skills based training to build capacity of conflict prevention skills and has demonstrated success with collaborative stakeholder engagement processes to cultivate responsive and sustainable solutions to complex, multistakeholder disputes.
