Andrew Macnab is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia, a gifted and committed critical care clinician, outstanding and dedicated mentor, creative and passionate educator, and innovative interdisciplinary researcher. He has published more than 125 peer reviewed papers and is the author of the best selling textbook “Care of the Critically Ill Child”. He has received major national and international awards for his contributions to research, public health, education, technical innovation, improvements to prehospital care including transport of critically ill children, and strategies to improve global health.
