My name is Lori Anne MacDonald, and I opened Precious Art Works & Prints as a small online custom gift shop in 2019 while I quietly searched for a physical location to open my gift shop and Doggie Daycare. I am a bit of a Jill of all Trades with my giftware and artwork, and I am a Dalhousie Graduate with Animal Science and Honors in Animal Health. My professional animal experience began with the Colchester SPCA, and bloomed into the veterinary field where I spent over 10 years as a Registered Veterinary Technician, then settled in the field of Doggie Daycare.
The Doggie Daycare and gift shop opened in Debert in January 2022. I have roughly 475 square feet of space of indoor play area and 1,800 outside. The unique "Spoolyard" is continually growing and changing to keep the pups in my care entertained and happy. A favorite aspect of our daycare, as per my clients, is the number cap of 15 dogs per day, so you can be sure your pup isn't getting lost in a sea of dogs and will be getting lots of individual attention, often including a good old fashioned brush out!
