Commissionaires is Canada's largest private sector employer of veterans and only not-for-profit security provider, employing 22,000 Canadians of all ages in 1,200 communities across the country.

Commissionaires is not an agency of the federal or
provincial government. We are a private, self-supporting, not-for-profit
federation of social enterprises, continuing a proud tradition that
started more than a century and a half ago. We exist to provide
meaningful employment to former members of the military and RCMP, and
their families, while providing exceptional services to some of the
country's most demanding clients.

We are a federation of 15 not-for-profit organizations -
known as "divisions" - with independent volunteer boards and
professional management, coordinated through a volunteer national board.
