John Denstedt joined the University of Western Ontario in 1991. He has served as Chief of Urology, Program Director, and is currently a full Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Western and its affiliated teaching hospitals. He is internationally renowned for his contributions in the field of Urology and minimally invastive surgery including over 175 publications and book chapters. Dr. Densedt is the recipient of numerous awards and has served as guest professor over 200 times in countries throughout the world. His research interests include minimally invasive surgery; urolithiasis; biomaterials, urinary tract infection; and surgical education.
