I produce short documentaries for festival, streaming and digital distribution, and short narrative films for non-profits' and small businesses' social media. I take an eclectic approach to storytelling on a wide variety of topics, but I am particularly interested in producing and collaborting on films in which children are the subjects. My areas of expertise are mental illness, substance abuse, and stigma as they are experienced in the U.S. and foreign countries. I focused on these topics in my training for advanced degrees in cultural anthropology and public health, and in my 20 years of academic research. Right now I am producing a series of vignettes about parents' struggles with sons and daughters suffering with an addiction disorder. I am an alum of the Docs-In-Progress Fellowship program. A side project now is training to become a Certified Davinci Resolve Editor, which is proving to be ridiculously fun!
