Dr. Jayna Holroyd-Leduc is an academic geriatrician, Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine at the University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services (AHS) Calgary zone. Her research utilizes knowledge translation (KT) science to improve care for older adults. She is the UCalgary Brenda Strafford Foundation Chair in Geriatric Medicine and the Academic Lead for the UCalgary Brenda Strafford Centre on Aging. She plays a leadership role within the Canadian Frailty Network, and was previously an Associate Editor for the Canadian Medical Association Journal (2010-2020).
