David Edwards is Professor at the University of Waterloo where he served as Hallman Director of the School of Pharmacy from 2011-2020. He is also Professor Emeritus at Wayne State University. He is a highly cited researcher in pharmacokinetics and drug interactions. He has served in a number of leadership roles including President of the Association of Faculties of Pharmacy of Canada (AFPC) and the Canadian Council for the Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs. He is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, received the Honorary Life Award from the Canadian Pharmacists Association and the Woods-Hughes Special Service Award from AFPC.
