Christopher Booth is a Medical Oncologist and Health Services Researcher at Queen’s University where he holds the Canada Research Chair in Population Cancer Care. In 2022 he received the Exceptional Healer Award from Kingston Health Sciences Centre, granted annually to one physician who embodies compassion, respect, and clinical excellence. His research program explores access, quality, and value of cancer care in Canada and globally. He is a member of the WHO Essential Medicine List Cancer Working Group, Advisor to the National Cancer Grid of India and Honorary Consultant at Pallium India. Dr. Booth has published >300 peer-reviewed manuscripts and served as research supervisor for dozens of trainees.
