Jeremy Grimshaw, whom Canada was extremely fortunate to recruit from the UK in 2002, leads the Clinical Epidemiology Program at the University of Ottawa and the Ottawa Hospital Research Program. Dr. Grimshaw quickly established himself as a leader in applied health research in Canada and is Director of the Canadian Cochrane Centre and Network. An outstanding mentor, he is a world leader in Knowledge Translation and has had a significant impact through his advocacy for rigorous scientific methods in assessing the effectiveness of practice and the organisation of healthcare.
