Rebecca Bustamante

About Me


Rebecca Bustamante is a Screening Director for the La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival, and presented the Best Set Design Award to 'Futurehood' at the 2018 festival. She was nominated for the 2018 Made in SA Award by the Greater San Antonio Film Association, which is given to an individual whose excellence in San Antonio's creative community and achievements have made significant contributions to the film, media and digital industries. As President of Women in Film & Video in Washington, DC (2015-17), she was honored to accept the 2015 DC Mayor's Arts Award for Excellence in Service to the Arts on behalf of WIFV, and launched the inaugural Seed Fund for Documentary Filmmakers. In 2016, she invited back as an awards presenter at the DC Mayor's Arts Awards along with Brian Kenner, Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development.

Currently, she is represented by Taylor Royall in Baltimore and is employed as a Program Manager for Verisign Inc. For the past year and a half, she has been Executive Producer for “Mastering Business Communications”, a Comcast television show in support of approximately 250 Toastmaster International clubs in the Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D. C. area.
