About Me


Dr. Tomblin Murphy is an experienced health leader and an internationally recognized expert in population needs-based approaches to health systems and workforce planning, evaluation and research. She is the Vice President of Research, Innovation and Discovery, and Chief Nurse Executive at Nova Scotia Health. She currently serves on the National COVID-19 Immunity Task Force Leadership Group, as well as directs the WHO/PAHO Collaborating Centre on Health Workforce Planning and Research at Dalhousie University. An active researcher and champion of research and innovation in healthcare, she leads teams to seek creative solutions and agile processes in order to deliver the best care and the best health outcomes for patients and their families.
