About Me
Dr. Shannon Scott is an internationally recognized nurse, scientist, educator and knowledge translation leader. As the Canada Research Chair in Knowledge Translation for Children's Health, Dr. Scott has improved health outcomes for children through her interdisciplinary research that merges research and the arts to develop national award winning mHealth tools for Canadian families. She is a founding co-Director of Translating Emergency Knowledge for Kids (TREKK) a national initiative that is game changing for children's emergency care. She has successfully trained multiple scientists and clinicians and mentored early-career academic faculty who have gone on to successful careers in leadership, academia and healthcare.
