He played a major role in the research leading to most of the new treatments used for advanced prostate cancer. With over 700 scientific publications and 85,000 citations, he is among the world's most cited scientists. Committed to patient education, he has written the most widely used book for patients with prostate cancer in Canada. His numerous awards include ‘The Order of Quebec' the highest honor given by the Quebec government.
