Jeff Nisker is a Professor of Obstetrics-Gynaecology and Oncology, and Coordinator of Health Ethics and Humanities at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Western Ontario. Dr. Nisker received the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada President’s Award for the most significant contribution to the specialty, the Canadian Association of Medical Educators Award of Merit, the Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Canada’s Educator of the Year Award, “The Dean’s Award of Excellence”, and the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Excellence in Education Award. He holds transdisciplinary CIHR grants, and has written many scientific works and six plays to encourage compassion in healthcare.
