Dr. Alex Mihailidis is considered to be the international leader in technology to support older adults, with over 200 scientific papers and 50 international invited lectures on this topic. He is the Scientific Director of the AGE-WELL Network of Centres of Excellence, which focuses on the development of new technologies and services for older adults, a Senior Scientist at UHN's KITE Institute, and a Professor at the University of Toronto. Dr. Mihailidis is a Lifetime Honorary Member of the Canadian Association for Occupational Therapists and a Fellow of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
