Georgia Job TIPS (Training Innovations and Placement Services), Inc. is a non-profit, grassroots organization founded to engage in education, training, job placement, and career development. Located in Columbus, Georgia, the community service organization utilizes an innovative approach to encourage and promote the welfare of women and men through education, workshops, and structured activities.

Founded in 2000 by Willie Siders and Lorraine Cobb, the agency offers these services utilizing funding received through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovative and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Since its inception Georgia Job TIPS, Inc. has provided assistance to thousands of individuals through a variety of specialized programs to include Incumbent Worker Training, Skills Shortage Demonstration Grants, Work Experience and OJT.
