Known officially as the Rose City, Welland is home to over 400 acres of beautiful parks, and has one of the finest rose gardens in the country.

Welland has a proud cultural heritage. Our residents represent a diverse blend of many ethnic backgrounds, including the third largest Francophone community in the province. The Welland Multicultural Centre organizes a yearly Dragon Boat Festival, as-well-as International Luncheons for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Welland is home to the state-of-the-art Welland International Flatwater Centre and Youngs Sportsplex. These venues host international competitions every year and bring athletes from around the world to Welland, Ontario.
